"Both abundance and lack of abundance exist simultaneously in our lives as parallel realities. It is our conscious choice which secret garden we will tend...when we choose not to focus on what is missing from our lives but are grateful for the abundance that's present- love, health, family, friends, work, joys of nature, and personal pursuits that bring us happiness- the wasteland of illusion falls away and we experience heaven on earth."

That's Real Country, Mom

I like to listen to one of my favorite radio stations from Arizona while I am doing housework on Saturdays. It has a mix of everything including good 80's music. Last weekend, while I was cleaning the kitchen, an old song by Shania Twain came on, and Halle said, "that's real country, mom."

She has come to love country music thanks to her dad. When she goes for a ride in his truck, they always listen to country music and when a good song comes on that she likes, she tells him to turn it up. I just couldn't believe she could tell the difference in the type of music. The ironic thing is, Neal didn't even really like country when I married him.
