"Both abundance and lack of abundance exist simultaneously in our lives as parallel realities. It is our conscious choice which secret garden we will tend...when we choose not to focus on what is missing from our lives but are grateful for the abundance that's present- love, health, family, friends, work, joys of nature, and personal pursuits that bring us happiness- the wasteland of illusion falls away and we experience heaven on earth."

A Wedding Weekend

Neal's brother, Alan, got married this weekend down in Utah, so his parents rented a house for all of us to stay in and we partied all weekend together.

Eating totally yummy cupcakes with Olivia and Nixon . . .
And plenty of other wonderful food . . .
Going to the zoo with Papa and the girls . . .
Playing in the backyard with the cousins . . . Lounging around . . .
And sewing dresses into the night with lots of moral support . . .

We don't have a picture of Halle with Caleb, one of the other two-year-olds, but they became best buds by the end of our stay which was really fun to watch. After church, Caleb came knocking on our bedroom door while we were changing. He announced, "Hello, my name is Caleb. Is Howly there?" as if he were making an official visit. It was pretty adorable.

We even had Neal's sister, Jennifer, surprise us from Ohio so we took the opportunity to take a couple of family pictures. This is Neal with his parents and all of his brothers and sisters, and the next one is of all the brothers and their dad.

We welcome Tiffany into the family and wish our best for them.
