"Both abundance and lack of abundance exist simultaneously in our lives as parallel realities. It is our conscious choice which secret garden we will tend...when we choose not to focus on what is missing from our lives but are grateful for the abundance that's present- love, health, family, friends, work, joys of nature, and personal pursuits that bring us happiness- the wasteland of illusion falls away and we experience heaven on earth."

More of our Vacation

I had a few more pictures left to post of our vacation, so here you go. We went to the beach the day after Thanksgiving. The guy at the hotel looked at us funny when we asked where the nearest public beach was. Probably because it's November. There was hardly anyone there, as it turns out. But for 9:00 am in November, the weather was beautiful to us. The water wasn't even that chilly just for sticking our feet in.
There was obviously at least one passer-by who was nice enough to take this picture of us.
Halle wouldn't get very near the water though. It got pretty stressful when it started heading towards her. I have a pretty tight grip on her hand as she is trying to escape the oncoming waves.
My favorite picture of Neal and Halle, and it looks like a lone fisherman.Halle building sand castles with our expensive sand toys from Best Western.
