It's time for our annual "mailbox picture." Every year about this time (since it marks the time we moved into the house), we take a picture of Halle next to the mailbox to show just how much snow we got. We haven't ever had as much as the first year we moved in. We actually couldn't find the mailbox for the first few days.
2008 . . . .

2009 . . . Not so bad
2010 . . . .Word is we might see water shortages this year, but I'm not seeing much difference.

We seem to live in a weather anomoly or Bermuda triangle on our street because, I promise you, these are the mailboxes directly across the street from us.

We don't have it quite as bad as the house two doors down from us. If you look closely to the top right of this picture, you will see Neal shoveling the neighbors driveway, or at least his head and shoulders.

We also usually get some pretty big icicles that Halle likes to help break up.

While Neal and I were helping dig driveways out, the neighbor girls came over for some sledding fun.

Can't beat a sledding hill in your own front yard.

Aahhh. All in a days work. Now it's time for some hot chocolate.
