"Both abundance and lack of abundance exist simultaneously in our lives as parallel realities. It is our conscious choice which secret garden we will tend...when we choose not to focus on what is missing from our lives but are grateful for the abundance that's present- love, health, family, friends, work, joys of nature, and personal pursuits that bring us happiness- the wasteland of illusion falls away and we experience heaven on earth."

Day 2 in Boise

Our first stop today was Build-A-Bear. The machine that stuffs the animals was a little loud, so in sympathy for Dillion, Halle put her hands over her ears for him.
They both got to choose an outfit and dress them.
And then Dillion's favorite part - the computer. This kid loves buttons and numbers, so computers are obviously a passion for him.

The next stop was Pojo's - an arcade place with rides and games and food - and mostly contained in one room. We got a package of tokens and they tried all kinds of games.

We also rode the rides a few times. We were worried that the bumper cars might be too much but they both did great.
And here they are playing Neal's favorite game - Hydrothunder. It was a good one because you didn't really ever crash no matter what direction they were driving the boats.
For the afternoon quiet time activity, we headed back to the hotel and did some coloring pages.

And then they wanted to pose for the camera and take a few pictures. Here is Dillion with Hoppy and Sally.

Then it was time to hit the pool again, this time with two floaty things. We actually bought two sizes because I'm still not really good at judging his size from memory. It was a good thing we did too because we had to use the one we thought was going to be too big.
He discovered that he could actually touch the bottom of the pool inside the 3 foot line, so his bravery paid off with more freedom today.
Halle's just chillin after taking an accidental front flip in her tube.
Aaawww. Looks like the fun has to end sometime and it's time for dinner.
All cleaned up and ready to go back to Karma's (foster mom's) house.
