"Both abundance and lack of abundance exist simultaneously in our lives as parallel realities. It is our conscious choice which secret garden we will tend...when we choose not to focus on what is missing from our lives but are grateful for the abundance that's present- love, health, family, friends, work, joys of nature, and personal pursuits that bring us happiness- the wasteland of illusion falls away and we experience heaven on earth."

You want me to drink what?

We decided to take the kids to Bear Lake this summer, so we loaded up the car and on our way we stopped to see my Grandma in Soda Springs. While we were waiting for everyone to arrive for dinner, we drove out to the place that gave the town it's name. It's a little spring of "carbonated" water.

We told them to try taking a drink of the water, and they weren't sure if we were tricking them or not.

They finally took a few sips and decided it wasn't so bad.

Then we headed over to the park.
Soda Springs is famous for giving the kids old tires to play on.
But they do have other playground equipment.
The swings are always their favorite thing at the park though.
