"Both abundance and lack of abundance exist simultaneously in our lives as parallel realities. It is our conscious choice which secret garden we will tend...when we choose not to focus on what is missing from our lives but are grateful for the abundance that's present- love, health, family, friends, work, joys of nature, and personal pursuits that bring us happiness- the wasteland of illusion falls away and we experience heaven on earth."

Family Days

A couple of weeks ago we took the kids to family days at the local dairy. As you can see by this picture, it smelled just like a dairy.
Dillon got to ride the horses. Halle decided at the last minute that she didn't want to do it.
They were both really brave at the baby animal area though.

And here's Dillon milking a "cow." He did awesome.

This is just a picture of Halle picking raspberries when we got home. We had so many this year that we couldn't pick them all. We had fruit smoothies just about every night for about two weeks straight, and my family came over one night and picked about six gallon bags full. I also begged a few neighbors to take some too, and we still wasted several gallons that went bad on the vines because we didn't have time to pick them.
